Coast formations

Magnificent formations on the west coast of the island of Herfoel (Herføl) in the municipality of Hvaler, Norway. The landscape is shaped through thousands of years of heavy weather, waves and ice. During the years a cave kind of opening has been shaped, among the locals called Hvalgapet (the mouth/jaws of a whale), but among tourists it is known as Katedralen (the Cathedral).
